2009-2010: “Media is the new marketing”

In 2010, Media Transparent explored how social media impacted the traditional marketing channels. My focus was on how any company, organization or individual could use their own voice to create their own marketing vehicles without relying on traditional media distribution like TV, newspapers, or even online portals. Such concepts seem quaint today, and makes us appreciate how fast social media is moving.

2008: “Chronicling how social media converges with mass media”

I started Media Transparent in 2008 to track the convergence of mass media with social media, with the simple proposition that the mass media and the social media were on a collision course.

Before 2008, I started one of the earliest real estate blogs focusing on technology and social media at Transparent Real Estate. It is dormant now.
