Local Merchants must see the Twitter opportunity

The first thing I would do if I were a small local merchant is start Twittering my offerings to the community. Theres no reason not to. Twitter is simple to learn and efficient to use.

There’s loads of anecdotal evidence that it works for small business: Taco Trucks, Retail, Pizza and yogurt.

Look what happened when New Orleans’ Naked Pizza started Twittering a few months ago:
