This is the message that I have been preaching both to myself and my fellow "opportunity seekers." As a professional, I've found that you don't ask for a job; you present an opportunity. Even though I am still on the road, I am in the process of putting together a seminar series on networking and presenting yourself as an opportunity to others. This will take place in Birmingham, Alabama and is geared towards female professionals. Yes, this is a selfish plug. But, as I tell others, you have to put yourself and your skills and expertise out there. Who knows who is watching and waiting for you.
